![]() Early in life i found myself wanting to be a game programmer. One summer in texas i enrolled into a new school. Here they gave me a laptop computer for my school work. This was a major turning point for me. I never had access to a computer like this before. In no time at all i had made a friend who was more than happy to teach me the ropes but little did i know, he knew more than anyone else in school. I was able to gain access to the buisiness wifi next door and explore the web to my hearts content without any restrictions. My mother feared the worst. She may have been right to in all honesty but if it had not been for this risky mixture. Then this website might not be here today. In order to make games i needed to learn much much more than just programming. I needed to learn ART. How to draw, How to animate, How to make music, ect. With the computer at my disposal none of this was out of reach. I merely had to ask Jeeves. ![]() ![]() ![]() Find My YOUTUBE Channel. CLICK HERE Challenges and Speedruns. Why i got started. I have always been a gamer.I have played so many games it isn't even funny. I don't consider myself to be a very skilled gamer but i must admit that the time i have sank into this hobby alone is insane. I have also spent tons of time watching other people post videos showing off there acheivments in various games. Beating them and mastering them in ways most people could never imagine. With the passing of time my own acheivment began to fade away as computers broke and memory cards got wiped. Even my pokemon games stopped saving. Youtube seemed to be a great way to preserve some of the memories and also try to show the world that i can go toe to toe with some of the well known greats! So i began attempting or elevating some some of the minecraft challenges that i liked. Not every video i watch on youtube is a big viral specticle. Some things are a big deal to myself and a handfull of others but not to the general audience. A good example would be Mortal Kombat Speedrunning. I discovered a video of someone Beating MK2 with Scorpion in 8 minutes and 13 seconds. This Mans name is TENKA! I subscribed and continued to watch while in the next few posts. He would improve the speed time again and again. Eventually hitting 7 minutes and 52 seconds! It felt incredible to watch and i felt like i was witnessing some sort of videogame history. Eventually i would start going to TENKA streams to cheer him on and the longer i watched the more i realized that i didn't just want to watch anymore. I wanted to be part of this. I wanted to speedrun. Now every time i get knocked down by the game. No matter what that game is. I hear the catch phrase of the speedrunner TENKA. Never Stop Running! WATCH TENKA's YOUTUBE Channel!
